N°32 — Residential / Collaboration Polhemus Townhouses
A set of new townhouses in Brooklyn Heights, developed in collaboration with Romines Architecture. The design draws on a traditional façade detail found throughout the neighbourhood — producing a contemporary result that is coherent with its context and fully responsive to the client brief.

Continuity and Newness
Brooklyn Heights has a strong and consistent street character built up over more than a century. The brief asked us to add to it — not to replicate it. By identifying a recurring masonry detail in the existing streetscape and reinterpreting it in a contemporary material, the townhouses find their place without disappearing into it.
